Built in 1905, the house was originally used as a summer home where children from the orphanage in Washington, D.C. were brought to spend summers at the beach. This home belonged to Alexander Graham Bell's family and the entire surroundings were called Monroe Bay.		The home has been recently refurbished inside and out.
